Compliance runs itself
On the platform, compliance runs through the Planned Maintenance System module. Drills, exercises and audits are planned tasks with due dates, so nothing depends on someone remembering. Every completed task is recorded, ready for the DPA, an auditor or a flag surveyor.

Our digital platform is a cloud system on a dedicated server, built for enterprise-level reliability, availability and data protection. The crew, management and owners each get their own login, and only see what their role allows.
Your data is never accessed without explicit authorisation from your designated system administrator.

Questions
Is KEEL approved by a flag State?
KEEL is aligned with the ISM Code, MLC 2006 and STCW, and every SMS has to be adapted to the yacht and approved by the person responsible for it. If your yacht needs a flag-approved SMS, use KEEL as the base and check the requirements with your flag.
Do I need ISM?
The ISM Code is mandatory for commercial yachts of 500 GT and above. Commercial yachts under the 500 GT threshold may need a safety management system under their flag’s code. Private yachts are not required to have one, but many choose to.
What format is it in?
As standard, everything is set up on our digital platform as digital documents, checklists and forms. If you prefer, you can have editable Word and Excel files instead, or we can set it up on another platform.
Do we need any software?
No. Our digital platform is part of every package, with hosting included for the first year. The crew, management and owners can all have access, each with their own login.
What happens after the first year?
Anchor and Helm: hosting continues at €650 a year, or you download the documents and keep them. Bridge: the monthly DPA check, hosting, updates and support continue at €145 a month or €1,450 a year.
How does compliance work on the platform?
Through the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) module. Safety and security drills, tabletop exercises and audits are planned tasks with due dates, so the crew is reminded and every completed task is recorded.
Can I use one pack on several yachts?
Each pack is licensed for one yacht, for one year. Fleet licences are available on request.
Can our whole Planned Maintenance System (PMS) be set up as well?
Yes. Building the PMS structure, setting up maintenance tasks and migrating data from another system are quoted as a separate project for each yacht.
