Course Introduction
The Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering is Axtell's most popular course, suitable for the majority of food handlers.
Previous candidates include chefs, yacht stews, restaurant staff, hotel staff and food handlers in variety of other food premises.
Regular course dates available on Zoom, all courses are available as in-house courses either at your premises or remotely on Zoom. All food safety courses are available on-demand at a time to suit you.
All food safety courses are regulated by Ofqual and accredited by Highfield Qualifications. The Level 2 Food Safety we offer is a MCA approved food safety course, delivered on Zoom.
Target Audience
Anyone working on, or frequenting a superyacht, mega yacht, or motoryacht.
Average Course Duration
This Level 2 food safety course is a one-day course and is assessed by a multiple choice exam with a pass mark of 13/20.
The remote training option is blended learning; a precourse food safety workbook to complete prior to a 5 hour Zoom session before an online exam.

Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Catering is relevant for head chefs, executive chefs, managers. This qualification is a five day qualification and is sufficient training to register to deliver food hygiene training (subject to a suitable training qualification).
