Our Faceless Crew champions sustainable practices that reduce environmental impact and promote a healthier lifestyle for yacht crews. We encourage the adoption of eco-friendly provisioning methods, waste reduction strategies, and the use of sustainable products onboard. By raising awareness and providing resources, we strive to make sustainability an integral part of the yachting culture.
Recognizing that a healthy, well-nourished body is fundamental to a healthy mind, we aim to equip crew members with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive. Our collaboration with Small Vegan Kitchen aims to make healthy eating both accessible and enjoyable, ensuring that every meal supports the crew’s health. Though we are sometimes egg eaters ourselves, we greatly appreciate the nutritious health benefits of using alternatives.

About The Author
Sarah Powell Fowler, a chef and founder of Small Vegan Kitchen, promotes eco-friendly yachting through plant-based nutrition and sustainable practices. She shares insights into provisioning, cooking, and minimizing environmental impact onboard yachts, such as reducing plastic waste, using local markets, and adopting eco-friendly cleaning products. Sarah also emphasizes the importance of empowering chefs to adopt sustainable approaches in their galleys. Her work includes webinars, workshops, and coaching to encourage greener yachting practices.
